If I had the option to give less than one star, I would. The management of the property is incompetent. The service is incredibly slow, and there have been days without internet. I faced issues with the shuttle service, having to walk to the campus because the shuttle was unavailable due to maintenance, and the alternative shuttle had no space.Moreover, they had the nerve to suggest renewal for students, but I question the basis for such a proposition. My experience was extremely unpleasant, and I strongly advise against choosing this place for students. I am thoroughly dissatisfied.
I’d give it a 0 if I had the option. In short, this property is overpriced and horrendously run. Last week the fire alarm went off in my entire building and I had to call the fire alarm line myself to get responders to check it out and shut it off. The wifi has currently been out for 2 days with one update that was given an hour after it went out. The property managers are either inept or uncaring, but regardless of which I’d recommend choosing a different location to live. They still have the audacity to spam me with texts and emails about signing a lease for next year due to “prices increasing” so this will seemingly be a more insufferable complex next year. If you value your time, money, and self respect do NOT live here.
The Station has been a great alternative for off-campus housing. Employees are friendly, efficient and address concerns promptly. Facility is clean and central to everything. We have been very pleased here.
Being a international student, traveling for the very first time in life, first I was very nervous and stressed that how would I manage everything without my family and all. But once I got here, I got know about The Station from a family friend they took me to look out the apartments and guess what, The Station, Buffalo was a perfect match to my desired place of living whether it be about study area, club house, gym, furniture both in your room and other amenities its just on point. Even the members out there in the office are too good. It is a must recommended place to live for students who are looking for housing on rent. One more to add the shuttle services makes it more convenient. So overall it is such a phenomenal place to live in 🙂❤️
This place is a scam now. The highest price among student’s apartment with probably the worst experience. Internet connection is trash since 2021, they never fix that, and won’t let you to get your own internet provider.
Internet service has been down since 10/27/2023 idk how long it will take to fix, they just said they are fixing it this morning. And there is no compensation with it, what a joke.
If I were the team, I will pay for residents’ data usage during the weekend.
So try look for others places if you can.
True to description, very modern the biggest con is the guest policy. To pay 800$+ in rent & get guest violations from roomates u don't even conversate with or hidden agendas is annoying . If a roomate calls on u maybe they're seeing someone come over frequently u can pay fees of 150$ a day. We aren't kids I should be able to have who ever over in my room as long as they're not in sharing spaces & being loud. I wish I read that in the lease I would have just got my own place if that was the case . Be AWARE if u have a relationship or just want siblings to come over there are guest policies in place .
Internet has been slow for months, only for it to be completely down this entire weekend 27-30 oct with almost no explanation.
EDIT: the station replied to my review and only addressed the fact the wifi is currently down. Not the fact that wifi has been completely unusable at night time as mentioned in prior reviews by other people for the past 3 months
The room and the amenities are great overall, however don't come here if you want reliable and quality internet. The internet here is often very slow within 5 Mbps at night with 200+ ping latency, barely enough to go on websites or watching …
